Founded in Gigondas in the mid-20th century, Domaine Tourbillon began under the care of Benjamin Tourbillon’s grandparents, who cultivated their vines beneath the Dentelles de Montmirail with patience and respect for nature.
Today, Benjamin carries the family legacy forward with passion and innovation, crafting wines from some of the Rhône’s most prestigious appellations — Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Plan de Dieu, Côtes du Rhône, and IGP Vaucluse.
The name Tourbillon – meaning “whirlwind” – symbolizes the estate’s philosophy: the constant movement between tradition and modernity. The winery combines meticulous vineyard work with precise vinification, using concrete vats, stainless steel and French oak barrels to achieve perfect balance and expression.
Each cuvée is personally vinified by Benjamin, yielding structured yet elegant wines that reflect both the diversity of the Rhône terroirs and the energy of their maker.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape – Complex, long-lived reds of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre with notes of ripe fruit, spice, cocoa and leather. The whites, elegant and rare, display floral, pear and hazelnut nuances.
Gigondas – Deep, full-bodied wines from Grenache-dominant blends, showing aromas of black fruits, liquorice and undergrowth. Powerful yet silky.
Plan de Dieu – Robust reds with blackcurrant, garrigue and spice; generous and structured, ideal with grilled or sauced meats.
Côtes du Rhône – Accessible, supple and fresh, bursting with red fruits and pepper.
IGP Vaucluse – Fruity and expressive, easy-drinking wines with cherry and plum notes.
